rally at veteran's park!

We're bringing a PA—a microphone, amplifier and speaker—and you'll have a chance to get up and speak your mind.

If we're lucky, one of us might even make the news!

Let's show the Council we mean business!

Veteran's Park is the grassy/shady area between City Hall and the Library. That's the hour right before the next City Council meeting.

At the last meeting Councilman Scott had a motion approved to have a vote if the Council should at least study what it would take to move the sewage plant to an industrially zoned area east of town. It may seem like a small step but this is how government works, and we have made an amazing amount of progress so far.

It's up to us citizens to keep up this momentum, and to let the Council know how important this issue is to us.

Veteran's Park is in the shade!

It will be an aftrernoon in August, so dress appropriately. We'll have water and refreshments on station; thankfully Veteran's Park is a nice grassy/shady area and you can see on the left there that it's right by City Hall, so the Council and anyone attending will see us when they arrive for the City Council meeting at 6pm.

We're doing a rally so people don't have to sit around for the whole council meeting—if you choose to stay for the meeting at 6pm you won't be alone, and if you want to speak up we will be happy to show you how.
